All year round we wait for Ramadan to arrive, and it could have been such that Allah gives Ramadan and then takes Ramadan away, but if that was the case we would feel extreme grief. So instead Allah rewards us with Eid, a dunyawi reward. To grant us something else to look forward to, to enjoy because He wants to see us happy, because we are His servants and He loves us. The ultimate reward He will grant us is Jannah, but we as insaan desire immediate gratification so He sends Eid, so that our hearts be comforted and we be not grieved. How Merciful is our Lord? -
We learn another thing from this. Sometimes Allah gives us a blessing for a fixed time and then takes it away, but in the process of taking it away He puts something else in its place, and it may not always be something better, for what is 1 day in comparison to 30? But it's something which creates satisfaction in the heart and brings about the rays of contentment being bestowed upon the believers' hearts. So if Allah has removed something from you, now is the time to ask for something which brings you contentment, in place of that loss. - !تقبل الله منا و منكم - May Allah accept from you and us! I pray you have a wonderful Eid and that your day is filled with happiness and bliss. Today is Allah's gift to you. So take advantage of it, be grateful and remember Him in abundance. Eid Mubarak! Remember me and my family in your duaas. 😊 - On a side note: Please do not spoil this blessing with sin, think about how good you've been this month, don't ruin it just for one day; as actions are according to their ending. -
